Admittedly, I have been remiss at posting projects as quickly as I should. I endeavor to get much better at this!

This was such an honor. I was asked to create a multi-cultural children’s mural for the foyer of the Ronald McDonald House, downtown Akron. The House wanted to have a heart-warming phrase added to the mural, so I chose to make the letters transparent so a sunrise could be seen through them. This mural was done on wood panels in my home studio and transported to the site. We installed the panels on their walls so they can be moved and re-installed in any location they choose. I’ve wanted to create mural panels for some time, so to provide people with the ease of having a mural done without feeling it’s static to the space in which it was created. This mural is 9’x16′. Thank you, Ronald McDonald House and Hazel Tree Interiors, for believing in this project and inviting me to be a part of it!

on Haidet and Karen Starr of Hazel Tree Interiors, and myself. Thank you Jon and Karen for this opportunity! Hazel Tree Interiors does a lot to support local artists and Akron is lucky to have them!
